BRIEF BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY
Mary Ann obtained deep specialist knowledge and experience in the field of assessment, using psychometric and other instruments, at the National Institute for Personnel Research (NIPR) of the CSIR and subsequently the Human Sciences Research Council where she worked as Researcher and Senior Researcher. She has worked as a consultant in association with Garry Whyte and Associates, Johan Redelinghuys and partners and privately. Since 1999, she has worked at the Wits Business School where her latest position in 2008 was that of Head of the Management Development Unit and a Deputy Director of Executive Education. Mary Ann is still very actively involved with Wits Business School in a senior consulting capacity.

Mary Ann’s experience has included research and practical application in the field of assessment for selection at all levels from unskilled to executive, extensive experience in individual and group career assessment and counselling, team building interventions, consultation on system development for career management, professional training of test users and psychologists, small group facilitation and the design, presentation and direction of management and leadership development programmes.
